Hi,

I have R8 and I am having an intermittent problem with voicemai pro. Sometimes while the client is on a incoming or outgoing call *17 Auto Attendant plays in the background. Both parties hears this message and it interrupts their conversation. This issue also Interrupts Xima Chronical call accounting recordings, voicemai pro just stop generating the VRL files in which Xima Chronical relies on.

The only way I resolve this issue temporarily is by restarting voicemail pro. But this is not a permanent fix and it will happen out in the blue.

So my question is, has anybody has come across this issue?

I haven't seen it before, but I would make sure you are at the latest release of software for your version.

I also notice an IP Office system crash in the morning around 8:30am.

I get this error on System Status.

Reason: Abnormal Termination
Termination Cause: <CM Sem> addr=f03ef350 d=5 pc=f04381dc stack=f0677750 f067df48 f067e930

Also System Status says voicemail is using 91 channel resources. But nobody is using voicemail.

I have seen this before.
The internal user hears his or hers own mailbox but the external caller hears "enter your mailbox number"
Only a reboot of the service will solve this.
I mostly happens when you are changing or doing something on the VMserver but i cannot reproduce it really.
But you are not crazy, it is actually happing!

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

We have seen this when call recording is enabled.
IIRC it is ok on 8.0.16 but of course this gives the licensing issue :-(

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

We do recording.
We are running the q1 trial and it happend once already.

Hey is there a decoder ring to figure out what the codes mean? Or someone have a manual to look this crap up in?
