i have a day and night menu working thro vmpro AA menu with condition with open and cloesed times.. the customer has asked me i can take away the time and they want to manually do the divert via the handset

*90 module with Start then conditions the AA menu.. took out Conditions menu with times then made a new module call Night service,,, but im stuck how i can get the user to manually set the night service AA menu

you will need to use test conditions, and then give them a seperate menu for setting the night and day conditions.

Never argue with an idiot. bystanders won't be able to tell the difference.

Best way is to create two new groups Daydivert and Nightdivert, create two new users dayuser and nightuser, put day user in the daydivert group and have that group set to sequential with the user forwarded unconditionally to the Day menu, have the nightdivert group as fallback in the out of service section, put nightuser in the night divert group with forward unconditional to the nightmenu. Point all calls to the day group and give someone a button to put that group out of service. When they do all calls will hit the night menu and when they take it off it goes back to day menu....you follow?

so i can use the day menu on the voie mail pro.. then when the customer leaves they can press nightservice button so the phones will but to the night service menu on the voice mail pro

My way you have visual confirmation when the button has been pressed :)

Obviously you need to tick forward huntgroup calls for the two users.

my way you can have audible confirmation :)

even tho my MSN goes to *90 voiemail collect then to the day menu..

so how can i intercept it via the handset to tell in togo to night service menu on the VM pro

so i need to make up the users ... starting to understand :)

you have two ways. using users like Andy suggested, and you get a visual confirmation. or my way where you dial into a menu and press 1 to set day and press 2 to set night. then you get audible confirmatio. choose which way you want to do it and we can explain further.

Yeah Tom but your way is rubbish:)
Point your MSN to the daygroup and have the user forwarded to that *90 shortcode, and for nightgroup point that user at the shortcode for the night menu :)

my way is actually tidier because by the looks of things he has one call flow. my test user variables will just replace the test conditions (insert bas1234 style rassssp smiley here because i cant find it)

The advantage of your way Tom is it retains the voicemail failover to a group if the VM goes down, my way you just get busy, but you get a nice light/black triangle on your handset....so there :)
