looking for a bit of help on a voicemail pro module, which I think maybe possible...
A company wants to setup out of hours to forward calls onto a relevant persons mobile, this could be changed daily/weekly and never people in order. Ideally, I'd like a voicemail menu which says to set out of hours to person a press 1, person b press 2 etc. On pressing the relevant persons option, this triggers a change in a transfer field for the out of hours which could be a dummy user with mobile twinning set etc. to clarify, if person a was currently set and their dummy number was 200, if this was overridden with person b who's dummy number was 201, this would change the transfer field to point to 201 instead of 201 and so on.
Having a look I'm thinking menu's pointing to generic options which can then change a value somehow which a transfer tab then pulls its transferred number to?! ....am I close? :)

First, forward ALL incoming calls to the mobile, or an option from an automated attendant to reach a person on call that can deal with the caller?

Create a User Defined Variable, say OnCall
Create a module that plays the current value of OnCall, then says for person A press 1, for person B press 2, etc.
Set the value of OnCall to 1, 2, etc and play it back for confirmation that it has been changed

When routing your call, test the value of OnCall. If 1, transfer to person A. If not 1, test if 2. If 2, transfer to person B. If not 2, test if 3. If 3, transfer to person C, etc.

I can see how that will work, but just gets a bit complicated with testing the value then.

I've set so a menus options point to a number of generic options set to then change the save variable so Save:123456789 (123456789 is an example of a number to dial). I've then set a transfer to route to variable $SAV but it goes nowhere and just hangs in the attendant so its not initially setting the $SAV to the number I stipulate :(

Here it is for 3 people on call

User Variable "OnCall" will simply be set to 1, 2, 3, etc to indicate who is on call

When routing the call, test if "OnCall" is 1. If it is, the Transfer action is 9 and Person A's mobile number (assuming you dial 9 for outbound calls)

If "OnCall" isn't 1, test if it is 2. If it is, transfer action to Person B's mobile number
If "OnCall" isn't 2, transfer to Person C's mobile
