This weekend a customer took a power hit and their entire system went down. When we tried to login to the VMPRO server the IT director forgot the password for the Windows login and had to reset it. After logging in I could see the client configuration but when I tried to connect it says "voicemail pro is not installed on this machine". I verified that it is indeed installed and I took a full back up of the config and greetings/call flows. Will I have to uninstall it and reinstall it? Suggestions. Thanks

You need to configure the service for VMPro.
When you change the users password then the service does not start.

Tlpeter I assume I do this under the properties in the vmpro services. Under login. I can't change the password, it says invalid. Any ideas?

You have to do it there.
Ask the IT guy about rights or let them enter it.

We usually set it up as a Local System account to avoid this sort of problem.
