I am having a random problem where my work calls me early in the morning saying incoming calls are down... If I try to call in to the office my phone dosent ring, not even once. it just sits there. but if I log in and restart the voicemail pro service then call immediatly i get a fax tone, then if i call again everything is good from there on out till it randomly happens again... Any ideas?

CCC 5.0.40
IP403 3.2 (55)
Voicemail Pro 3.2 (30)
Manager 5.2(61)

Please help :(

second call is the alarm system modem picking up on the line (you have analog lines I assume) you can actually do the same thing when the lines are working , call hang up call again then the modem will also pick up. The voicemail service restart fixes it that means it is a voicemail problem, the releases for Manager and the IPO don't match you should have 3.2.61 for the phone system, what version is your VM Pro at?

oh and its a PRI with 16 lines. shouldnt be analog at all...

in that case it is a real conundrum with the modem tone, sorry I sent it and looked again and saw that you posted the release already.
Upgrade to 3.2(36)

VMPro service keeps stopping

3.2.35

This is a newer version then yours but I think it was already a problem with your release. Problem being that it is not mentioned in the Tech Bull 89 to be actually fixed but I have several of that version running without a problem

Not sure about the modem tone, but....

I'm assuming an auto attendant answers your incoming calls (when it works).

I had the same problem I resolved by making sure the VMPro services logged in under the Windows account VMPro was installed under, rather than the local system account.

I upgraded to the latest virsion of VM pro and all is well! Im thinking service pack 2 did something to the older version i was runing! Thanks for the help
