All, I have an IPO server running with VMpro that has been happily working away without issue until yesterday when it just stopped!

No config or MDB changes were made and we have subsequently reinstalled the IPO server from scratch but still no joy.

SSA shows connection to VMpro but then times out with error that it fails to connect due to p/w being incorrect.

No RDP being used and I have tried changing the VM p/w along with those in the sec settings.

Any ideas would be most welcomed.

I don't understand.
The server edition runs the IPO and voice pro on the server itself.
If it is a password error then there must be fine a chance on both the security settings on the IPO and on the voicemail pro client.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

That is what I am struggling to get my head around also.

I have checked all passwords and even double checked them against a colleague for fresh eyes but still no go.

I originally thought it may be corrupt VM but reloading did not clear it.

Login on the webcontrol page -> Then check if the service is running.
Login to the security settings and change the password for VMPRo and set the same password in the VMPro client and see what happens.
Which version are you running?

I'm assuming you run the VM pro client on a PC on the network to make changes to the VM config. Make sure you don't have VM services running on that PC or you can have some funky issues.

Hi Peter, all services are running and passwords changed with no luck. Running 9.0.2 GA

Sean, yes I am using the client to administer VM and although I have VMpro installed on this machine it is not running.

I will try uninstalling the VMpro from this client just in case

removing VMpro from the client PC made no difference.

What do the logs say?
There must be some notification.
