Hi Guys,

I have an issue using the voicemail callback feature on a Voicemail Pro. I have setup the P external telephone number under source codes and created the callback start point under the mailbox in Pro. When I leave a message the Voicemail Pro will phone the P number for 30 seconds and then give up. If I answer the call within the first 15 seconds I get the Pro notification and I can dial # to receive the message. However if I answer the call anywhere between 15 seconds and 30 seconds the call immediately drops.

I have made many test calls on both versions 8.0 (44) and 8.1 (69). This issue occurs in both IP Office and Intuity mode - any calls answered after 15 seconds drop. It seems like the timer on the Voicemail Pro is set to 15 seconds but the timer on the IP Office is set to 30 seconds. I can't find any applicable timers or reference to any in documentation.

Callback is separate from voicemail ringback and Voicemail Pro outcalling.

Voicemail Callback

A service whereby the Voicemail Pro calls a specified number whenever the user receives a new voicemail message. Callback requires a callback start point to be created in Voicemail Pro and a callback number entered in IP Office Manager.

Voicemail Outcalling

A service where voicemail notification can be configured to specific external numbers and the notification escalated if the message is not listened to. Outcalling can be configured by any user of voicemail in Intuity mode.

Hopefully someone else has come across this problem?

Thanks

Bob
