Hello

I have the latest version of IP office 500 and application server for voicemail and One-x portal. Every day the customer is having to replace the mc_00 wav file that plays a beep at the end of the user voicemail message. I have reinstalled the en and enu files on the server last night and it made no difference. Has anyone come across this before or if my next stage to reinstall the server to get a fresh install on voicemail pro?

Regards

Are there any edit play list actions that may be recording over the file in error?

as a sneaky work around you could change the permisions on the file

chmod 444 *.wav

in the correct wavs directory should do it :)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Why do you use the mc_00?
It should beep by default.
What are the software versions?
The latest usually does not mean the latest :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I have IP office V2 box running V9 (9.0.100.845)
Application server 2.5.32-279.22.1el6x86_64 CentOS
Voicemail Pro 9.0.1.0 build 53

I just assumed that the system used the mc_00 as thats the file that plays a beep.

Cheers

I have a app server running on that version and it beeps by default.
What action do you use for voicemail?

Its just for the users. They have no actions. I have an auto attendant and a couple of night messages that work fine.
