Voicemail Pro - Argh! Any Sample scripts out there???

Hi

I have just got the IP 403 and VMPRO - the 403 is excellent and a massive improvement on the Mitel 3100 we had - but I am a little stumped by the VM Pro.

So far we only have 3 extentions (500,501,502) and VM Lite works fine. The VM server and key server are running fine but I can't seem to get any joy from the VM PRO package - I have only tried some simple tests but no bananas. Is there something I'm missing? Anyone have sample scripts I could try. TIA

VM Pro Should operate just like VM lite unless you program start points.
before you start is this working correctly?

one simle but nice feature is a speaking clock

shortcode:- 123
Telephnoe Number:- "#Short Codes.clock"
feature:- Voicemail collect

(Note "short Codes" & Clock Are case sensitive)
creat a short code entry point "clock"
link this to action type Clock in miscelanious actions
for more info check the job aids on the document CD

Ok - so here's a stupid question - I assume I do not run VM lite and VM pro at the same time? I have been but from the sounds of the above I should stop VM Lite?
 
You must uninstall VM Lite and then install VM Pro. Then all will burst into life.

Feelin' dumb here....
So Completely uninstall Lite - If I program nothing on PRO do I still get the basic features, as in the LITE version? Or do I have to define each mailbox for any functionality.

Also do I have to completely uninstall or can I just 'not run'

VM Pro is just like VM Lite in that it will perform basic VM functions without user intervention.

IT just Works. VM lite does not need to be uninstalled as long as it is not running
 
OK

Got VM PRO to work - but so far still having problems customising it. If I add a User (My Name on the system :- Chris) and click on the LEAVE icon, then in the first window that comes up I add a WAV file make live and save - am I not right in thinking that when the phone get answered it should be with this new greeting?
 
I have just tested this. Leavin jus a start point in call flow has no efect you need to link in at least one action
EG Leave Mail.
this will not change the mailbox greeting however it will just play the Wav file(s) before the mailbox greeting.

It is really quite simple once you understand how it all works.
