Customer is coming off a 406v2 into 500v2 (9.0 service pac 2). If they would use visual voice this would be a non-issue and no one would have noticed. They don’t want to use visual they want to continue using the 406 way to retrieve messages by pressing the message button entering the extension blah….blah…blah. However when you press the message button you are prompted to enter in extension and then prompted to enter the password as usual, then dead silence. If you know to press 2 you can retrieve your messages as normal, so the action is there. But the normal prompts are missing after you enter your password. I remember Avaya had this issue in one of the early version of voicemail Pro but don’t recall how it was resolved.

have you rebooted the voice mail pro server yet?

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

I have the same issue on the past 2 VM Pro upgrades. Both from a 500v1 5.0. Switching Voicemail mode to and from IP Office mode does not help either.

Run System Monitor and monitor the EVM events. Most likely missing prompts.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Change yor interface in the VM pro to intuity mode

It's only dialtone!!!
