We're going live on a new customer deployment today and found that the Auto Attendant and greetings have the first 1-3 seconds clipped from the beginning of the recordings. Called tech support and was told this was a known issue and that there was a patch but that it had to be provided by Avaya Tier 2/3. That was Friday, still no contact from them even though I've followed up today.

Anybody out there got this patch? If not, can anyone suggest a suitable downgrade to another version of VMPro to prevent this clipping?

Thanks all!

Use the 3.2 version, there maybe some new features not available but in general it will work just fine.

Thanks Bas - I'll give that a try on my test rig. I followed TheTaker's advice and downgraded to 4.0.15 which worked (star for you Taker).

I've since gotten the info from Tier 3 and downloaded 4.0.27. Not sure if I'll load this up for the customer or wait for Dec. 17th and install the maint. release.
