Hello there,

I can't find a thread to tell me which two ports to use to program into #505 on the Avaya Partner R6.

I know with a PVM card it's on 78 and 79.

Please help.

Thanks much, Joe

You cant find the answer because, unlike the PC card, it is not a uniform answer. On the processor extensions, any other module extensions before the voicemail (not applicable in your case), and then module/ports of the voicemail.

So if you have R6 processor which would be extension 10-17. This makes the VS module 18-23. VS starts at the last ports so your ports should be 22 and 23. If I miss counted I am sure one of the vets with Partner can correct but I think 22 and 23.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

If it's just the processor and the pmvs then 22 and 23 are correct.
