Hi,
We've had an unusual request from one of our academics, he's looking for a system where a user dials a number and either records a message or triggers a pre recorded message which dials out to half a dozen extension or mobile numbers and then plays that message to the people answering or leaves it in their voice mailbox. Is this something we can do in Micollab/Nupoint UM or can anyone suggest a way or system to do this please?

Thank you,
John.

Suggest asking NuPoint support, or read the documentation. MiCollab is not going to be much help because it uses only a limited set of features from NuPoint.
There are some 'strange' and complex options in mailboxes that allow delivery of not just message waiting but actual messages as well.
Many places use message delivery for after-hours support for example. Someone records a message in a mailbox that has message delivery set not as MWI but as delivery.
You can even deliver to multiple destinations on a delay.
Now, if you are looking for prerecorded message delivery, there is a system announcement feature that might work.
Besides these, the mess notification system (MMS) is designed to do just that and more.
