I've cross posted in VOPI..transmision as well,so apologies but pretty desperate.

We have an issue with Aastra 9133i IP Phones that's causing us major problems.
In summary if the phone is ringing and you press the disconnect key, it sends it to voice mail. Our users do NOT have voice mail. So what happens it tries to use a default routing list for the user, but the call is lost in the system (TeleVantage) and causes all sorts of issues.
So we need either to route to a designated extension (so we can handle it) or ideally, disable the ability to send the call to voice mail in the first place. But of course we need the key to still act as a disconnect key.

thanks,
Stu..

Wow. I wonder what that disconnect key is actually programmed as. It sounds to me like it is not an actual disconnect key at all. Sounds more like it is programmed as some kind of forward button. I'll bet if you check the programming of the buttons on that phone you will find the problem. I would reprogram that key with the correct code for disconnect.

That's the issue, the key doesn't seem to be programmable. If it does turn out to be, I'll post here.

You don't know how to program buttons on the phone? If all else fails I would program that button as a flash key which would disconnect the caller and return dial tone, or call someone in to do this that has the experience on your system

No the problem is that button doesn't seem to be configurable. Unles someone knows other wise?

Wish I could do more to help you out. Unfortunately you may have to call in a vendor for this. If you have the system manual you should be able to get it done. Most manuals you read would probably be in Flexible Button Programming section. Good Luck...

Aastra phones are programmed by browsing to the phone.
