Voicemail not work with DND?

I have a customer that says they can not transfer to voicemail when their DND is turned on. Any suggestions?

If the phone only has one intercom button, try adding a second intercom appearance.

All phones have 3 intercom buttons, This only happens when DND is turned on

Are we talking about transferring a call to voice mail or are we talking about forwarding on a no answer to vmail?

Many customers think that by turning dnd on they will send their calls immediately to vmail, which of course is not the case.

Do not disturb is about a do nothing feature in my book because all it does is turn the ringer off. Calls still come in and flash, you just don't hear any ringing.

I always encourage my customers to forward to vmail (or another extension) instead of using dnd.

You could always talk him through reprogramming his dnd button to a F984 button and see if his "problem" goes away.
