I changed a phone in an option 11. Key 0 was a scr key and I changed it to a cdn so that I can have it set up in symposium express. Anyways, now that the change took place whenever I have a voice mail, the message light does not light up on the phone (2616). My extension that used to be on key 0 is now on key 1 in the configuration. Is there a way to make the message light up whenever I get a message on my phone?

0 now cdn. nothing on key 0? can you mov 1 to 0? you have CP or Mermail?

You need to change the Message Indication DN in Voicemail to the new number assigned to Key 0

I use Meridian Mail. I change the message indication light on meridian mail?

yes, pull up the voice mail box, you have ext dn's and a mwi line to tell the mermail which light to turn on... you might want to move that scr to key 0, a phone with a blank key zero is a problem waiting to happen..

If the MWI DN in the voicemail isn't on key 0 of the phone chances are it wont turn on the message light.

key 0 has a cdn programmed to it. key 1 and 2 are scr keys. WHat I did was a dnb and found out that key 1 was in multiple phones, so i removed it from all phones and changed it to what I have in key 2. I also marp'ed key 1 and it is lighting up now.
I still have one more phone I have to do this with. I would like to have that extension on more than one phone, but not sure if it will work that way.
Key 0 is set up as a cdn key that is why I had to move the extension to key 1.
