We are using IPO Ver. 6.0.07. I have a users voicemail set to forward VM alert to his cell. However, even after checking a message he gets calls all the time for old messages he has already checked. Not sure where to start. Any help much appreciated.
lol, sorry, as you can tell I am really new at this phone system thing. It seems as though we have a source number of Pxxxxx somewhere on an extension that is calling his cell. I think I am going in the right direction.
If you open up the VoiceMail Pro client, you can go to Help > About to see the version number. I am assuming that this is VMPro, as it sounds like the outcalling feature to me. Does his cell phone actually ring, and when he picks up he's able to login to his office mailbox?
I'm not the most familiar with outcalling, but I suppose its possible it will call with old messages if they aren't saved or deleted. The voicemail may still consider the message as unread, so the next time either voicemail is restarted or a new message is left any messages that are not saved or deleted will probably show up as new.
I found the problem last night. His cell # was in several source numbers with P code for about five different extensions. Not sure how or when that was configured like that but it is right now. Thanks everyone for there help.
