Hi

I Have a Nortel T7316E phone - Nortel BCM and the Voice mail is only accessible to outside callers.
When Somebody calls internally my extension , the phone keeps ringing and never goes on VM.
I did dellete teh mailbox and re-create that and change the greetings...
Any help would be appreciated...

Does the extension fna/fb to the voice mail main DN( Fearture 985 ).

WHAT IS fna/fb? when I use Feature 985 > it shows me the main VM number

if you use element manager look under your set and see if it is set to forward to the vmail dn after x amount of rings.

No i am not using element manager
I used call pilot to set up the mailbox and initialized my VM. Now the external caller can get to VM and leave message but internal users are not routed to voice mail and phone keeps ringing.
is there any where that I can set the number of rings to forward to VM?

Yes, in the phone system.

Now maybe you can help me with other issue that I have. i want to change DN on one phone and I used to that with Feature **266344
and right after punching this the diplay would ask for password and then I would have the ability to change DN...
Now when i try Feature **266344 The display dose not ask for passowrd so i cant continue
Any idea?

You're pushing me. But since I am in a good mood you can spell setnna at the Log: prompt. Then you can enter your password.
Normally I would tell you to call your vendor again but you seem to have some experience.

Thanks for the reply. I would try this, just to confirm I would first use F **266344 then punch stenna (738662) and it should ask me for the passowrd?
I'd try to avoid calling our Vendor since we have no more support contract on these kind of the issues and it would get pricy, so i apprciet your help :)

Yes you are correct. I know it gets pricey but understand that a lot of users don't have the experience and what us to walk them through each step. Since you have some experience I don't mind getting you past your brick wall.
