Voicemail Integration Question 1

Greetings. I am looking for information on integrating an external voicemail system to a Vodavi XTS. In looking through the Vodavi website, it looks as if the voicemail integration is proprietary to specific Vodavi voicemail systems. We're looking at potentially hanging an Avaya voicemail system off of this system. Can anyone offer any insight on if this is possible?

The XTS will support virtually any external voicemail via analog station ports (actually, it will simultaneously support up to eight different external VM systems). All integration is via DTMF. Within the XTS voicemail programming there are "get" (digits required for a user to retrieve messages) and "put" (digits required to send a non-subscriber to a particular voicemail box) tables.
