Hello,
I'm a bit confused where this item/ticket is at?
If you have a shared line, let's say Sales Ext 645 and Support Ext 650, you can have a key for one or the other, or both, programmed on different set. As an example, perhaps the Sales Manager wants to monitor the Sales and Support mailboxes to ensure calls are being return promptly. If he Ext 620 - he can have his Primary Message Waiting Indicator (top of phone, flashes) for his own voicemail box (MB 620). The Ext 620 can also have a Message Waiting Indicator programmed on two separate keys for both 645 and 650. When either mailbox get's a voicemail the MiVB system will activate the message waiting indicator for which ever mailbox has a voicemail message - 645 or 650 or both). When the message is retrieved and saved/deleted, then the flashing MWI will go out. As an added bonus for the Sales Manager - if there is a message waiting lamp flashing on either key, he can press that flashing key, enter the shared PIN code to the shared group mailbox, then listen and save or delete the message. When all new messages are saved and/or deleted, the MWI light goes out (or what we professional say as "the MWI lamp has extinguished."
Hope this helps!
