We are running a legacy Merlin Magix setup. I am running WinSPM 9.0. The issue I am having is with a call transfer issue. If a call is transferred to an extension with call forwarding set up, the call never makes it to voicemail. I rings roughly 5 - 6 times and is then rerouted back to the phone that transferred the call. If the extension is dialed directly it goes to voicemail correctly. Any ideas would be fantastic.

are you saying, when you forward an extension to another extension it doesn't cover to the mailbox of the covering extension?

The operator phone transfers a call to an extension. The extension is set up to dual ring. So the phone that the call was transferred to is ringing as well as the cell phone that the desk phone is forwarded to. The desk phone that received the original transfer should go to voicemail after 5 rings, instead the call rings about 8 times and returns to the operator.

Adjust your transfer return setting to , under options.

That appears to have resolved the issue. Thanks!! I would have never figured that out!!!
