Hi all, here is the issue I am having. IP Office 402.
A user who used to be at extension 1201 has moved to a new office and now is at extesnion 2312. I changed the incomming call route at the main office to point his did to the 2312 extension. This works, can place and recieve phone calls without issue and the correct caller ID shows up. I wiped out his voicemail box, and deleted the users 1201 extension from the main switch, I also changed the name on the new extension to make sure it acted like a new mailbox. However when I call in on the did and get the voicemail prompt it is still prompting for the 1201 extension.

Also his voicemail light is lit up and there are no messages at either 1201 or 2312.

Any ideas?

Make sure you rebooted the IPO to make the change effective. If so, try stopping and restarting voicemail services.

change the name back, delete messages, put new name back on.

Beat way is to just reboot the system, it usually straightens it all out with minimum fuss :)
