I have been tasked with creating an AA for our company using an IP500 with version 5.0 on it. This IP500 is in an SCN with another IP500 running the same version of software. They also use Voicemail Pro 5.0. I have everything set up except for outcalling of the emergency box I. After I had no luck figuring out the ARS tables, which I believed to be the reason why it wasn't working, I decided to try to get around the problem by creating a short code for dialing entry that avoids the ARS tables.
8N and 9N go to ARS tables 53 and 51 respectively. I made my own entry using 7N that looks like this:
Code: 7N
Feature: Dial
Telephone Number: N
Line Group: 0 (This is the default line group for all channels on the PRI they are using at the main office that is connected to the Voicemail Pro server directly)
*No alarms or warning were displayed after I added this short code
To test my solution, I set the destination of one of my AA endpoints using the "Specific" tab to 7 followed by the number I wanted the voicemail to call (7XXXXXXXXXX). When I reach the endpoint, the call will simply disconnect each time. That is the same problem I was having using 8 and 9 with this number.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
