Voicemail for ACD Hotdesk user

Anyway of accomplishing this, tried re-routing to a phantom DN that is always re-routed to VM, but then they just drop to noraml system greetings, which is right as the call goes to voicemail but does not drop in with the correct DN of the extension.

Also just tried to creat a mailbox with the number of the acd agent in voicemail but just get a message saying value out of bounds?

Now out of ideas!

 
The typical setup for an ACD agent that requires VM is to program a Separate key line and Msg Wait appearance and leave the prime line alone for ACD calls only.

I am assuming by your post that you are not set up this way.

If not why not give it a try.

The Key line would be routed to VM directly and the lamp would flash on the Key. Couldnt be simpler.

Yeah i thought of doing that, but the reason i had not is the customer wants them to use acd hotdesk as they do proper hotdesking between phones and work from sets at home as well, but they also use a Autoattendant where callers can dial the extension number if they know it so it was just cleaner to make the DN of the acd hotdesker his extension number.

It is an option i can out to the customer though.......
