I just found out that on our IP Extensions, the "Message Waiting" button does not work when message is from voicemail. Then the phone wants to dial 00000. Is this programmable in the PBX, what number is voicemail or does it come from Voicemail system?

Chris

Hi.

1, Check what IFCIND (SID) the VM system has in the PBX.
ICFUP
2, Check SID parameters
ICMWPSID=XX;
3, Change SID param with ICMWC:SID=XX,DTXT=XXXXX,KFC=MWC,DIG=XXXXX;

Ah okay.

I get the correct line with ICFUP, but in that table, is the IFCIND the same as SID?

Regards
Chris

It does not have to be.
IFCIND is a MD110 label (MD110 issue) for the Voice mail signalling channel (V24/RS-232 or ip). The SID is the System ID of the voice mail system/server, and the SID is written into the voice mail system (VM system issue).
If you have a serial connection or ip connection a trace can be made to find out what SID your voice mail system has.

Ok, how can I do a trace? I am not so into tracing stuff. But the voicemail is connected through IP. This is a MX-ONE system.

Chris

I solved it. Voicemail used SID=1, so then a ICMWC solved it! Thank you!
