My System:
Magix R3
412TDL
408MLX
016T/R
Merlin Messaging R1.1
My problem:
When an external caller arrives at a voice mailbox, either through the AA, being transferred, or using the Direct VM button, and then hangs up once the prompt begins playing, there is usually a message left for that extension. The message that is left is comprised of silence, and then dial tone for about a second, and then the message ends. Even if a message is not left, anytime an outside party hangs up, there is at least a 5 second delay before the system notices that the other end hung up. I tried the same scenario on a Partner ACS3 system with Partner Mail VS5, and though the phone system took a similar amount of time to notice that the calling party had disconnected, I've never been able to replicate the same issue in the Voicemail unit--blank messages are never left.
This is my first Magix system, so I am drawing a blank. Is there anything that can be done so that the voice mail system can realize that the caller has disconnected?
Thanks in advance!
