Hi All,
I'm new here and pretty new to the world of Mitel 3300. I've been dragged away kicking and screaming from the comfort of years of ISDX and Nortel BCM.. Anyway. I've done about 6 or 7 small 3300 installs and come across the same problem, I'm sure there is a way to do it but I just haven't worked it out yet..
All phones have DID, the phone's extn number matches the last 4 digits of the DID number and 2 digits are stripped off from the incoming number and each phone has a mailbox for this DID, which is fine. I have assigned a seperate DID to a ring group with all extensions in that ring group- this is the customer's main advertised number. What I need to do is make that main DID number go to voicemail during office closed hours and assign the mailbox to 1 phone- I guess by using MWI. The other problem is sometimes the customer would like to call forward this main DID to an external number (which would use public trunk to public trunk outdial). I have never be able to get a soloution for this kind of setup, which in the UK is a very common setup on smaller systems. Anyone got any tips??!
Thanks.
