Hi

I tried to access the voicemail card in ipoffice for the

first time it shows "TFTP request failed file not found"

What may be the solution for this. I am attaching the

screenshot of the error. Pls advice me.

Voicemail- Embedded Voicemail

Ipoffice Version- ip 500 release 5.0.20

Did you power off then insert the card then power on? If not try rebooting and see if the card becomes visible, you will probably need to upgrade the card too :)

How we can upgrade the embedded card

This is typically an issue with TFTP being blocked by a firewall on the local computer you are running manager on.

Temporarily disable the windows firewall and any 3rd party firewalls/antivirus that might be running then try again. If all else fails try from another PC.

Hi

I tried from different PC, also i stopped the firewall.

I got the same error

Pls reply to me

Thanks

Is it a compact flash card?
Check if it is still working, in system status or just by calling the VM (eg *17).
If this is the case pull the current, take the c/f card out and put it back in and boot the ipo.

I tried that way also.

but no hope.

Maybe try reuploading the embedded files. Go to File>Embedded Management then it brings you to Manager with different options. Under File>Upload File select the whole tree of embedded files.

Pull the card and put it in a card reader.

When I put the card in a card reader- i can access the card.

Then do it that way.
There have always been issues with the embedded vm card, tftp and 5.0

hi

when i put that in system, Its not working.

Is tr any way we can check the status of the card

using system status application?

do you have the correct type of files in there, the 723 files are for SOE the 711 files are for all other systems.

Try replacing the control - I had one with a bad card reader and replacing the control was the only fix.
