I've a strange problem i can't find the answer to.
I'm setting up a 3300 MXe with the latest ver 8 firmware.
I've setup a voicemail huntgroup for all the users personal voicemail and a seperate RAD huntgroup to play a RAD if the main incoming call goes over a certain number of rings. I have used a voicemail port in the RAD huntgroup which i've removed from the main voicmail huntgroup (i used the first port not the last i've been stung by that before). Now when i leave a message on a users personal voicemail, the message waiting light flashes on their phones (5340's) but when i press the message recall button instead of getting transferred to their mailbox i get a callback message shown on the phone from the main voicemail huntgroup saying "RAD Failure AT 9100/18:19" (9100 is the main voicemail huntgroup and 18:19 the time).

Any ideas anyone?

Sorry to advise you that Mitel recommends that you do not use either the last OR the first as a RAD. I suspect you've now been burned twice.

Thanks kwbMitel, i've changed the RAD voicemail port to 10 rebooted the controller but the problem is still there.

Done this may times without issue.

Confirm:
- VM RAD port is in Separate hunt group
- VM Rad port is NOT in voicemail group
- VM Rad port has different COS with COV VM Port option turned off, Rad Port and Advanced rad ON.
- Calling VM Huntgroup manually (9100) works normally
- Calling VM Rad group is answered with RAD.

Just to wrap this one up. It was an error in my programming, i'd enabled RAD on the main voicemail ports COS when i was playing setting it up and forgot about it.
Thanks for the help kwbMitel

That will do it, I take it the COS's were not different then.

Yes.
I was told always check the COS first with problems. Why don't i listen!
