I have a 3300 which has 8 analogue trunks and customer wants the auto attendant to do a blind transfer to an extension(ss4150)without the call returning to voicemail again if unanswered by the set. I have managed to achieve this by creating a transfer mailbox and then transferring to an ACD path with the ss4150 logged in, the call doesnt return to voicemail if unanswered however, As soon as the call goes into the acd path and if the caller hangs up whilst in the queue, the ACD set still continues to ring and if answered, nobody there(ghost call). How is it possible to resolve this ? Or another better way of trying to achieve this.

Just remove the mailbox
You created a loop

LS trunks issue - no CO disconnect.
configure your Co disconnect settings.

Basically the system does not see the calling party clearing the call and therefor still rings the extesion in your path

for the setup, I don't see why you are using ACD.

A simple hunt group will do the same thing. No logging in or out for the user.

The "Ghost Call" issue is addressed by MitelPassion. The 3300 is not detecting or is not receiving diconnect from the CO.

Kwbmitel, I have tried using hunt groups, but when the transfer mailbox sends the call to the ss4025, if it isnt answered after 6 rings, you get "thank you for calling, if you have a touchtone phone....." default mailbox.

I have tried setting up the trunk answer point as the acd path and it disconnects fine. If I ring the auto attendant internally and choose the option and hang up, it will disconnect ok. Its almost as if the disconnect signal isnt happening because the call is going to the auto attendant and then the transfer mailbox to the acd path, then only does it not disconnect.

Still trying to take the ACD out of the mix, I would try setting the COS option for transfer recall for the VM ports to 0 Zero. This should prevent the call from recalling from a hunt group.

I don't work with analog trunks very often so I have no idea why they appear to be locking up.
