Hi There,

Extension range is 2xx and the auto attendant in VmPro gives the caller the option to dial the users extension then it then goes to 7 options to dial eg.

1 for accounts
2 for info
3 for reception

Problem is as soon as someone starts dialing the extension 2xx it imediately goes to 2 for info. any ideas on the best work around?

thanks Tom

Your menu isn't constructed properly. Either don't use digit 2 as a single-button selection or make 2 go to a submenu and wait for two more digits. If no more digits arrive, have it timeout to the "for info" destination.

You put a menu after the 2 that allows the extra 2 digits to be dialed (i.e ?? as DTMF) and put the timeout to go to where option 2 used to go i.e Info :)

That appears to work for all users except those who forget what extension they are dialing when they call in and end up at option 2.

We have a few of those.

Thanks to amriddle - it is a workable solution!
