Voicemail and Fujitsu over Loop Start Trunks

Can I make an F9600 Platform work with Loop Start Trunks for Voice-mail? Altura Techs told me that I can't. Our network has Fujitsu F9600 platforms as far as 200 miles distant. The CO where the PBX is located is changing their facilities to all loop start trunks.

you can change the trunk group to loop start, but you may have problems with disconnect supervision.
