I have a path built for external transfer setup on line028; these are centrex lines which require a 9 to dial out. I have configured line028 as PUBLIC but when I call the CCR and press option 5 (external transfer)I recieve a message that states that the line or line pool is not configured for this operation. Anyone have any suggestions? Note: I have also tried on my line pool with the same results.
 
The lines have to have SUPERVISON turned on your side and on the Telco side. Not sure how that works with CENTREX.
 
"public" approx. means no one has access to the line for dialing out.

The setup guide gives a detailed accoutn of the key strokes in setting up a external Xfer
