Voiceflex and V7

Hi,

We have used Voiceflex and the IPO successfully at several sites. However at our latest install and our first V7 we seem to be having issues, the Sonicwall (firewall) is also on a later version then previously used, potentially another issue. So the problems:

Trunks seem to register / de-register as they please.

Calls in have a 50/50 chance of working (even when trunk is registered).

DDi routing / and outgoing DDi (using CLI pass-through) don't seem to work.

There seems to be several new SIP settings has anybody got Voiceflex and V7 working successfully. All of the above seems to work fine in V5 / V6.

Sonicwalls are notorious for messing up SIP and IP Phones, there are several threads revolving around this, I would say that's where you need to look

I would have to agree with AMRiddle - I have two systems in my office on version 7 running voiceflex trunks with no issues at all, I also then have sites where we have installed SIP and they have sonic walls and end up having numerous issues with them.

OK Thanks, I will try and rule the sonicwall out as a first step. We have them working together at all other sites but i think every one of them is configured in a diffrent way to get them to work.

turn off any h323 transforms and any SIP ALGs.

the IPO really doesnt like its packets messed with.....

Always do, the Enable consistent NAT seems to be a lottery. Sometimes you need it sometimes you don't !!!!
