Hello,
Using a Gmail account. I followed the instructions on the FAQ below but I am still not receiving emails. I also checked the HTTP security settings and changed them to UNSECURED and rebooted. I know that the Gmail address is correct because it is the same one that we use on another IP Office system that uses Voice Mail Pro 9.0. This site is using embedded at version 9.0.9.0 (Build 995). Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? Thanks!

try to maka a sysmonitor trace with SMTP filter enabled.

With Gmail you need to "enable 2-step verification" for the account you are using. This will then allow you to create an app password. Use this app password instead of the normal password for the email account. You will also need to "allow less secure apps" for the account.

Did you do the less secure apps bit, i missed this step out and it never worked.

You need to go onto the gmail settings and change it?

ACSS (Manieee on a new account)

Ok thank you. I am going there later today and I will do that.

Thank you all for your help. I double checked everything. When I changed to using LAN-2 it started working.

I am working with the same setup. What did you change to LAN2 to get working? Thank you in advance.

With regard to 2-step verification - I am a little confused as to how this works. When I went to my account and turned on 2-step verification it sent me a code; from what I read it asks for a code every time, not a secondary password?

I got it working. For some reason my existing gmail account didn't want to work so I just made a new one and it worked perfectly. Who knows?
