Hi all,

some Voice System boxes (not all, luckily !) did strange issue: with empty voicebox, the phone "ring" to alert for new message...but there's no any message !

Maybe IVM need a reboot...or what ?

This is the IVM:

<SUDIP:DIR=2001;DIRECTORY INFORMATION AT 09:59:37 01OCT13
DIRECTORY NUMBER : 2001
TYPE OF DIRECTORY NUMBER : GENERIC

Thanks, Michele

Is it extension 2001 which has the message waiting signal?
Print SUSIP and check to see if MEW ACT is shown.

Thanks himdp for your reply but 2001 is the IVM:

<SUSIP:DIR=2001;STATUS INFORMATION AT 12:33:30 01OCT13
DIR TYPE TRAFFIC STATE/PTR LINE STATE/PTR DIV STATE ADD INFO
2001 IVM IDLE #0000 ASSIGNED #0348
END

<

The extension that receive the MEW signal, without any message, is (for example) 2417:

<SUSIP:DIR=2417;STATUS INFORMATION AT 12:34:34 01OCT13
DIR TYPE TRAFFIC STATE/PTR LINE STATE/PTR DIV STATE ADD INFO
2417 DTS IDLE #0271 FREE #03B6 NAN
ODN1:IDLE MEW ACT
ODN2:IDLE
ODN3:IDLE
END

<

and, for example, 2250:

<SUSIP:DIR=2250;STATUS INFORMATION AT 12:35:31 01OCT13
DIR TYPE TRAFFIC STATE/PTR LINE STATE/PTR DIV STATE ADD INFO
2250 ATS IDLE #0223 FREE #038B NAN
MEW ACT
END

<

as shown in IVBOP:DIR=ALL;

VOICE SYSTEM DATA PRINT
VSD DIR VCAT PERGR LANG NEW-SAVED-TIME
2001 2250 01 00 00 00-00-900

Thanks, Michele

You can see from the SUSIP prints that the MEW ACT is showing (message waiting active).
This means that the extension believes there is a message waiting when there is not one in the VM.
This indication must be removed on the MD110, the original procedure was to re-synchronise the system with the VM by doing ICUPI:IFCIND=x; but I do not think this is valid for IVM.

Invalid MEW indication can be removed by SACOS or SGSAI/SGSSI but I do not have that information to hand at present so perhaps someone else can help.

have you tried restarting or reseating the board? tried restarting IVLP?

best parnum

Just send another message to mailbox then delete it or #91# cancel msg waiting
