voice recording when sending to our fax

Hello: We are runnning cp4.0 and have set up a fax number. When a customer faxes in to us they hear "Mailbox 427 (a pause) please begin transmitting the fax now". I tested it on our fax machine and yes I hear it also, but the fax still goes through without a problem. How would I go about turning this voice off?

Have you tried importing or recording a silent greeting ?
CP will then play the greeting, and then start presenting the fax tones.


Good judgement comes from experience, which usually comes from bad judgement..

Are you sending calls for the fax number to the main CP voice messaging SDN number or multimedia messaging SDN if the call goes to a multimedia SDN it will not play the prompt.
