Hi,

I'm new to JMF and have a problem with transfering a wave file from a PC to a telephone.
I establish the communication using SIP and then I'm using JMF to transport the wave file. The result sounds horrible. It's not possible to understand something. The situation is much better when I use mp3. The telephone only supports the ALAW codec.

Can someone tell me if there are special parameters or what can be the reasion forr the bad quality?
