I wondered if anyone could assist here.
We have had a customer with BCM50 Release 1.0 running for some months now. They have IP handsets at remote locations via VPN routers at remote locations. Periodically, the phones would go off line. It was initially proved to be an issue with their ADSL routers.
Since this has been rectified, they still intermittently have an issue where the phones drop.
Their IT people have asked the following question, and of the top of my head, I am unable to answer, hence the need to log a thread on the forum.
They ask: Can the BCM act as a voice 'proxy' (ie, all calls even IP to IP are routed through the BCM for the duration of the call like IP to TDM?
I hope the above makes sense?
