Just installed a CP100/CICS Rls 6 bundle. Was rubbing my hands in anticipation of making a final exit whennnnn.....
customer demonstrated voice path interuptions/glitches when listening to his recorded Mbx name and Ivy prompts. Also noted voice interuptions when dialing the ANI number to telco. Reseting CICS & CP100 didn't seem to have much effect. Problem most noticable on phone with ACS headset.. but can be heard on all others. Removal of headset made no difference. Problem not heard when on a call with a live person. Ideas anyone?

Did you try re-recording it. Maybe the AA and greetings were just poor recordings. The fact that you don't have the problem in live conversation supports this.

Also, check the quality of the connections to the CP100. Did you re-use jacks and wiring? There may be som corrosion or residue that is preventing a clean connection.

I'm kind of thinking you may have a DOA Call Pilot. Saw one that chopped audio if more than 1 channel was in use, like it couldn't multiplex. Tech admitted it had been dropped.
Fess up Arr, did you drop your CP?

Hey all,
No Marvo, I didn't drop the CP. Perhaps I'll drop kick it tomorrow... Best of my knowlege it hasn't had any bouncing other than what the shipper may have done to it.. and that up here is usually freezing as it travels from east to west in winter... All connections are new. Only old connections are those of the station wiring to the CICS. Some station wiring had to be adopted as existant. But reterminated through a BIX 36DI. Some of that is a little flakey by any standard. Trying to think how to prove it could be one station wiring causing the problem without disablling the whole business. I HATE working after hours on a Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CP was not in use with any other user except me. As stated above when I dial the Telco ANI number I get chopped voice too. But it is hard to say if the chopping is as bad with the telco recordings because they don't go on for as long.
