I had my voice mail working and all of a sudden it stop working the aa will pickup and direct you to and ext but that it you will see automatic voice mail an the display and it just kept ringing and ringing what can I do I'm using partner v3. my next qustion is I have a fax ext fax can I setup the partner to detech the fax tone and tranfar to the fax machine and if so how do I go about. thanks for any input in advance.

Are you saying that you can not pick up a transfered call? Or, the call is not answered and it just rings forever?
I would check that voicemail coverage is enabled for extensions with voicemail (including ext 10). Transfer return should kick in if VM doesn't get the call. Make sure the transfer return timer is set to one ring higher than the VM cover delay.
The ACS 3 proc. can detect CNG tones on cards with CNG detection for line ports. That means 308 expansion cards and the ACS. Not 206 cards. Just set the fax extension on the system and set the attendant to pick up the calls. The ACS will do the rest. (#601 - fax extension). Make sure that only your fax line rings on this extension (and no where else) and assign auto extenson privacy. There's more features in the book too.
