Is this issue for one phone or your whole system ?
How are you retrieving the messages ?
If you are using notify me and listening to your message from your PC then the light will not shut off.
If you are calling directly from the phone and the light is still on try a stat sta xxxx (xxxx being the station with issue) and on page 1 under "Message Waiting" does it read "spe" or "vm server" ?
What type of integration? Direct SIP? Session Manager?
What version of AAM?
If going in via Session Manager, run a traceSM and ensure that the Session Manager is getting the NOTIFY message to turn off the MWI. You can filter the traceSM with -u XXXX to only show results for the extension. If you don't see a NOTIFY come across after clearing a mailbox of new messages (which should trigger a MWI Off to the switch) and then see CM reply with a confirmation then I would start in SM/SMGR.
