If I can ask this ?...what 3rd party VM unit is recommended
for the Legend...Beyond the Merlin Mail....looking for a
unit that is user friendly. thanks in advance.

Key Voice makes a unit that will work well with the Legend.

Intuity is not a 3rd party, but it can be used with modes codes with the Legend, and there are lots of them out there for sale used. Very user frienldy too.

If Intuity Audix is considered "user-friendly" - then I can't believe that a Merlin Mail R3 (really cheap) or a Legend MLM 007 or Magix voice mail system would not be considered "user-friendly" as well. They are pretty easy and straightforward to set up. The newer Magix voice mails (R2.0 and up) integrate really well with a Legend system running newer processor software.
