Voice-Mail will Not pickup!!

Greetings Gentlemen,


I have an IP Office version 5.0.26 with VM Pro. All was working fine and I rebooted PC and now the IP Office will not go to VM. Checked services. VM service is running and I restarted it for the heck of it. System says VM is not running. Any ideas?

No, more likely to be a firewall or IP address issue. First check the PC's IP address is whats on the Voicemail tab, and then check the firewall is not blocking the connection.
 
I agree on firewall issue.

It's not running on a DNS Server?

You can enable a debug log in VMPro that perhaps shows more information.

Guys,

The system was running great. Just a re-boot to clear delta server problem. Everything is inside the router ( local ip address ). Florian, would you explain how to set-up debug log in VMPRO, please?

You might try unplugging both the IPO and VM Pro from the network and ping both addresses. I have seen where a user somewhere connects something with a conflicting IP. You could also connect the IPO directly to the VM server. That would at least rule out a network issue.

You guys were dead on the money with your diagnosis. I changed the IP address of the system and it came right back in service. Thank You, fellas. I appreciate the help.
