voice mail unavailable

Multiple users are getting error message "voice mail unavailable". it is modular messaging , i checked system is up?

any idea what to check to resolve issue?

yes, stop and start the "MAS Service", most likely your message store has gone offline, it doesn't always come back without stoppping and starting the MAS. I am assuming exchange integration here.
