Hi,
Please I have NS500 in my office and I want to configure the pbx such that when a caller calls the office at night the voice mail will intercept the call and will ask the caller to leave a message.Where do I go to get that configure.
Is it possible to get customized voice uploaded into the pbx to be used as the voicemail.
Third I would want users to make external calls without dialing 9 first.

Do you have a full voicemail or just svm that is built in

Do you have password access to the programming

If you set up pickup dial on each extension and put in 9

I have password access to the pbx.
I really want a full voicemail created by me.
Please I really dont understand the third line in your reply so plz can u explain better.

Under extension settings you have the option to set pickup dial or hotline and in the box beside it you enter 9

You have to have the dsp card and memory card for full voicemail

Thanks obtsystems I clearly understand now.
I was testing the inbuilt voicemail for external incoming call so i configured the floating extension 591 for the voicemail.
But when I called the into the system I expected the voicemail to play the inbuilt voicemail message but didnt hear such a thing.
I was just hearing the call progress tone.
What could be the problem.

If using an extension for night you point the incoming call at night to that extension number then use intercept at night to 591
You can’t send straight to 591
