HI voicemail is installed on C: wich is running out of room , is there some way to tell voicemail to save all new msg to a new folder say on D: where I have lots of free space.

Thanks

Voicemails saves to subdirectory within /ipoffice/voicemail directory.

Not aware of any settings to relocate voicemails via manger etc,

Why not reinstall Voicemail and when it asks where you want to load the programs select your 2nd drive

Just go into your general preferences, and tell it a path on D: drive to store the waves. Then copy the entire VM folder (found in Voicemail Pro folder) and all sub folders to this new path, save and make live.

I do this all the time, works fine.

general preferences is this fouund within the IP manager and can we do this wile there are calls going on

Thanks again

Bill

This option is only avaliable with VM Pro, if VM Lite then you will need to reinstall the app on the D drive and copy folders across

Soopa Doopa Intergalactic IP Office installation mechanic and configuration corruptor from way back.

Yep, IPAlot is correct I assumed you were using VMPro. If so, then general preferences is found withing the VMPro client.

You can do it while calls are going on as long as nobody is actually in the process of leaving or retreiving a voicemail. AA operation is fine. Just don't delete the old VM folder until you change the file paths - and remember to hit Save & Make Live!
