I need to figure out how to return a caller to the original mailbox, after the caller has dialed 0 for the attendant and no one answers the attendant number programed in the mail box. The system is Nupoint IP 4.0 with call director. The mail does not have call director assigned to it

Don't think it can be done.

If we had access to supervised transfer but that is not available from the Voicememo layer when dialing zero.

Thanks Kwbmitel. I can do it with calldirector, I guess it justification for buying more licenses. The only other way is to send the call to a keyline and program a reroute back to the original directory number.

I was answering within the limitations of your question. Using Call Director is by far the simplest method. Creating phantoms for each and every mailbox for separate dial zero points seems incredibly labour intensive.
