voice mail ports ringing busy

I have a ACS 6 with a pc small. ex 78 and 79, and 777 are ringing busy. I took out the vm card, and reset the system, and 78, 79 still ring busy. I put the vm card into my backup acs, now I have the same problem.

You need to make sure you have 78 and 79 programmed to #505, hunt group 7. If you do have that correctly programmed, the card could be bad. I've had a few go bad.

I know that the vm card is bad, what i need to know is there a way to fix ext 78 and 79 in both ksu's. They have a ring busy that I can't clear. I took the memory batteries out, and reset the system, but both ext still ring busy

If the card in not installed, or the card is bad, 78, 79, and 777 (if it is programmed with 78 and 79 as members) will ALL give busy signal when called.

Your card is bad. Replace it.

Yes, as TTT states, when the card is bad, you will get a busy signal. It's not an issue with clearing the ports, it's a bad PC Mail.
