Voice mail not working now

Well it appears that along with the distinctive ring heading south for the winter apparently voice mail went along. After pressing the SYS-V button for voice mail it no longer plays the greeting. The displays VMAIL 7929. I have group coverage set for 7929 with my coverage group as 30. When I inspected my Coverage group 30 all of the phone extensions are there. It looks like I need to still need to join the two so when I dial 7929 it will look at the extensions. Also when callling in voice mail is not picking up. Any suggestions or thoughts ?

OK got this worked out. The Group calling was not set up correctly. Somehow the extensions for the Merlin Messaging System Calling group were deleted but once I added them back in everything is back up and running. Still need help with the distinctive ring problem though. Thanks in advance.

The PCMCIA card used in conjunction with the Magix processor can save a few versions of the system configuration. If one of them is known to be good, try restoring off of it and see if that knocks out some of the problems.
